Product Specialist 

Report to: Project Manager/Product Director

Role Summary

Product Engineer is responsible for leading the technical and strategic management of DRiV’s product portfolio in the automotive aftermarket. This role acts as an internal and external technical reference, driving complex analyses, strategic decisions, and initiatives related to product development, positioning, and lifecycle management.


Key Responsibilities

• Manage and achieve the product, price, place and promotion strategies that contribute to the achievement of the defined PR

• Generate and innovate activities and actions that increase the market share of the product line.

• Manage the product portfolio according to market needs

• Manage price, cost and margin strategy per item, generating proposals that allow the achievement of the profitability objectives of the business as well as ensuring competitiveness in the market

• Participate in the development of technical and advertising materials for

• Increase the share of mind of the target market

• Analyze sales reports by line, customer, area and item for the generation of action plans to achieve commercial objectives

• Participates and interacts in the inventory balancing process to ensure an optimal level of service

• Participates and interacts in the definition of demand projection by item.

 

Requirements & Competencies

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Production Engineering, or related fields.
  • +5 years of experience in the Automotive or aftermarket industry.
  • +3 - 5 years in Product management

 

Technical Knowledge

  • Strong expertise in Steering and Suspension and/or Engine products.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings, specifications and Automotive industry standards.

 

Strategic Competencies

  • Strong analytical capability and strategic business vision.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary projects.
  • Advanced English language for global interaction (Mandatory).
  • Advanced Office 365
  • Knowledge in SAP system
