- Responsible for the day to day HR function at Federal Mogul Aftermarket at 2 UK locations and approx. 70 heads.
- To provide full comprehensive HR knowledge to the leadership team and on site managers on all matters regarding Employee Relations, reward and benefits, payroll and colleague engagement
- Be a proactive contributor and supporter of the Senior Leadership at FM Aftermarket Bradford
- Champion and lead the use of in house system Success Factors – for all Performance and development and resourcing activities
- Actively drive colleague engagement, encouraging a more engaged and productive workforce
- To ensure that all KPI reporting requirements both at site and at corporate level are completed weekly/monthly.
- Manage and support the negotiations of the yearly pay increase for all non-salaried employees
- To be responsible for the complete payroll cycle at UK Aftermarket, including all statutory reporting, this includes full end 2 to end of the payroll process ensuring its accurate inputting and recording.
- To support line managers with short-term and long-term absence reviews where rehabilitation has not been possible and further intervention is required
- To provide HR support in severe disciplinary & grievance hearings working with local management to ensure that all elements of policy and procedure are adhered to
- To coordinate all UK aftermarket recruitment including internal approval process, benchmarking, interview and selection, appointment and induction and integration into the business.
- To support local management with the annual appraisal activity for all employees
- To advise managers of changes in employment law and to advise in changes to site policy and procedure in line with legislative changes
- To ensure that the site policy and procedure comply with FM UK HR policy
- To research specific projects as required and to present findings to the relevant local management/UK HR team members
- To support other FM sites as required assisting in such areas as disciplinary and grievance hearings – full flexibility required
- Be responsible for the HR budget
- Manage all paper and electronic UK Employees files
- Be part of the wider European HR team, sharing best practice and ensuring HR strategy is deployed and actioned in the UK Aftermarket
