Data Analytics Lead Engineer

The Data Analytics Lead Engineer leads the development of scalable data pipelines and platforms, ensuring data is accurate, reliable, and accessible for analytics and reporting. This role combines hands-on development/engineering with team leadership, setting technical direction, leading/mentoring developers, and aligning data solutions with business needs to drive informed decision-making.

What you will do:

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards, scalable data pipelines and architectures to support analytics and reporting.
• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering best practices in data visualization, coding, testing, and documentation. (This role combines hands on development with team leadership)
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and security across all data platforms
• Collaborate with analysts and other business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Set technical direction for dataviz projects which enable data driven insights balancing and complexity.
• Optimize performance and scalability of data systems to meet business growth.
• Drive automation and standardization in data workflows to improve efficiency.
• Ensure timely and correct communication of business metrics
