IT Business Analyst - Sales Applications

The  IT Business Analyst -Sales Applications is responsible for working with EMEA internal and external resources to define requirements, plan, execute and finalize solutions for Sales systems and applications. The candidate will establish milestones, coordinate efforts between the Sales teams and the implementation partner in order to effectively and efficiently deliver according to plan. The position is responsible for providing expert advice by gaining a solid understanding of customers’ needs and the different sales solutions.  

The position requires an individual who enjoys working in and delivering within a fast paced, challenging and constantly changing environment. A positive attitude towards continuous improvement must be combined with a high degree of drive and enthusiasm.

 

What you will do:

  • Coordinating activities required to implement the use of Off the Shelf application, roll-out new functionality and further integrate with other business systems.
  • Track overall project progress and report status and any issues to management and project team members.
  • Act as a liaison between the leadership team and system users.
  • Coordinating and facilitating requirements gathering sessions with cross-functional teams which help define and verify process needs and workflow design.
  • Working with end users to improve existing business process workflows.
  • Creating visual modeling or diagramming of the current and proposed workflows.
  • Assist in the development and continuous improvement of processes and procedures to streamline operations, increase efficiency, and ensure regional business requirements are effectively incorporated into global standards and solutions.
  • Utilize data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Working with leadership to create reports necessary to better manage teams.
  • Manage day-to-day relationship with third party vendors. Complete activities such as scheduling meetings, troubleshooting system workflow issues, reporting product anomalies and recommending software enhancements.
  • Monitor application upgrade release notes. Notify applicable team members of application changes as a result of upgrades and complete training if necessary.
  • Train all impacted users when new functionality is rolled out.
  • Troubleshoot system and software when problems arise. Proven track record of leadership, decision-making and ability to concurrently manage multiple priorities.
  • High degree of professionalism, diplomacy and discretion, excellent judgment, problem-solving and decision making skills; and strong customer-service skills.
  • Assist in the creation of long-term strategic goals for achieving and maintaining high data quality in conjunction with end- users, department managers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Document process, configuration, and user instructions
  • Assist with Projects Governance and Coordination
  • Assist in blueprinting and implementation efforts
  • Ensure proper maintenance and governance of the system to prevent deviations from the defined process and solution design.
  • Ability to effectively work in a team where other team members may be located throughout the world
  • Ability to travel internationally – up to 10%

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to expand technical knowledge and develop expertise in CRM application configuration.
  • Strong self-leadership skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to develop a strong understanding of Sales & Distribution processes, business operations, and commercial requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and influence stakeholders on complex data, technical concepts, and business solutions.
  • Experience working with SAP/ ERP.
  • Experience in CRM (C4C / Salesforce) implementation, deployment, configuration and ongoing support is considered an advantage.
  • Experience with Analytics applications (PowerBI / Azure)
