The Power BI Engineer plays a key role in delivering scalable, high-quality reporting and analytics solutions across the EMEA region. Working closely with the Power BI Lead Engineer, this role focuses on developing dashboards, optimizing data models, and ensuring reliable data pipelines that support business decision-making.

The position is hands-on, requiring strong technical expertise combined with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and translate requirements into impactful data solutions.


​​DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for business users across EMEA.
  • Develop and optimize data models, DAX measures, and queries to ensure performance and scalability.
  • Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and data transformations in collaboration with data engineers and architects.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reporting solutions.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders (finance, sales, supply chain, etc.) to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Perform data validation, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Contribute to standardization and best practices in data visualization, documentation, and governance.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide ongoing enhancements to existing reports.
  • Collaborate with the Power BI Lead Engineer to continuously improve reporting frameworks and tools.
  • Provide support and guidance to end users regarding dashboards and data interpretation.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong experience delivering reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI
  • Proficiency in DAX, SQL, and Python
  • Solid understanding of data modeling and performance optimization
  • Experience working with large datasets in cloud environments (preferably Azure)
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to structure and solve complex data problems
  • High attention to data quality, accuracy, and reliability
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Ability to work independently while aligning with technical direction from the Lead Engineer
  • Experience with data governance, documentation, and BI best practices is a plus
