Job Summary:

We are seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to support financial planning, performance analysis, and business decision-making for the Mexico and broader Americas Aftermarket organization. This role is a key business partner to the commercial and sales teams, focused on driving profitable growth through actionable financial insights.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in commercial finance, experience in manufacturing or aftermarket industries, and fluency in professional-level English to effectively collaborate across regional and global teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for commercial activities.
  • Deliver profitability analysis by product line, customer, and distribution channel to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to evaluate pricing strategies, promotions, and customer profitability.
  • Monitor revenue, margin, and operating performance metrics; identify trends and key drivers.
  • Conduct variance analysis and present clear recommendations to improve performance.
  • Partner with supply chain and plant finance teams to ensure full alignment of commercial and operational plans.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting related to commercial activities.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and support compliance with corporate and regional financial policies.
  • Support ad-hoc analysis and business case development for new opportunities or investments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial finance, preferably within a manufacturing or automotive environment.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial mindset; ability to translate financial insights into business action.
  • Fluency in professional-level English is required for cross-border collaboration and reporting.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP and Hyperion (HFM) preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build partnerships across functions and levels.
