ALCANCE DEL PUESTOS:
Will lead the business expansion development and growth strategies for Mexico.
Establecer la directriz de la estrategia de producto a través del precio, costo y tecnología en el mercado.


RESPONSABILIDADES:
Success in this position will require cross-functional team leadership, working collaboratively with the regional commercial team for Mexico to drive strategy development and implementation across sales, engineering, purchasing and manufacturing. Key success indicators include New Product Introduction (NPI), sales growth and profitability.
• Evaluate the key functional characteristics of products and deliver overview and projections.
• Identify and effectively communicate critical design and related performance attributes; Work with team to establish respective product value proposition and set direction for market and price positioning.
• Develop and implement NPI strategy while ensuring competitive market coverage
• Coordinating part number information with, distribution, customer service, sales, manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, inventory control, etc.
• First line of contact with sales team, customer service, technical services and other internal departments regarding product attributes, specifications, etc.
• Research and analyze competitive product offerings to understand competitive strengths and weaknesses to guide profitable growth initiatives
• Research and organize competitive market pricing with an understanding of product characteristics and value in coordination with brand and program strategies
• Contribute to quotation of customer opportunities understanding full channel profitability
• Research and maintain competitive interchange data for internal and external use
 

PERFIL DEL PUESTO
EDUCACIÓN:
Ingeniería o Licenciatura concluida (Ing. en Mecánica, Industrial, Automotriz, etc., Lic. en Administración, Mercadotecnia, Relaciones Comerciales, etc.)
IDIOMA: Ingles Avanzado; capaz de establecer conversaciones de negocios.


EXPERIENCIA:
• Bachelor’s Degree required. Masters in business, engineering or corresponding work experience is valued.
• 8+ years of progressive work experience within, product management, purchasing, supply chain, businessdevelopment, sales or engineering.
• Expertise in the creation and use analytic and communication tools including spreadsheets, databases and presentations.
• Interpret and apply financial models including cost structure and profitability analysis.

• Ability to effectively assess value streams, decision drivers, critical paths to market, competitor assessment and strategic product positioning.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Commit, when required, to foreign and domestic travel up to 20% of working time.
