RESPONSIBILITIES:



Planning Management:

  • Process and monitor information related to incoming goods received via email; manage the inbound mailbox.
  • Schedule truck deliveries via email and telephone.
  • Enter all announced shipments into planning files/Excel.
  • Prepare and monitor mid- to long-term planning and forecasts (FCST).
  • Maintain oversight of delivery schedules, slot bookings, and warehouse capacity utilization.
  • Proactively solve problems and provide recommendations to Planning, Operations, Carriers, and Transport Management.

 

Receiving Operations:

  • Create ASNs (Advance Shipping Notices) and Inbound Deliveries.
  • Enter Purchase Orders (POs) into SAP, manage the Delivery Due List, and create inbound deliveries.
  • Verify shipment labels and ensure control over the origin of goods and batches.
  • Maintain, update, and analyze master data.
  • Communicate with customs brokers regarding import and export customs clearance procedures.
  • Initiate packaging adjustments to optimize logistics processes.

 

Continuous Improvement:

  • Continuously assess opportunities for process improvement.
  • Contribute ideas to optimize inbound goods flows, including transportation, booking slots, and packaging.
  • Prepare reports on KPIs, carrier performance, packaging usage, and related metrics.
  • Coordinate with carriers and suppliers when KPI targets are not achieved.

 

Driver Reception Desk:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for truck drivers; assign gates and manage check-in/check-out through the slot booking system.
  • Process, create, and manage CMRs, packing lists, invoices, and export documentation for both incoming and outgoing AM/OE shipments.
  • Provide drivers with all required documentation.
  • Perform administrative tasks.
  • Print locator labels and tickets.
  • Resolve operational issues and exceptions.

 

Outbound (Backup Support):

  • Create deliveries based on Excel files, emails, or SAP follow-up activities.
  • Determine picking priorities based on collection schedules while considering warehouse picking capacity.
  • Release and coordinate transportation for ICY shipments within and outside Europe.
  • Release and monitor transportation activities for the French market.
  • Arrange and track transportation for DACH, Nordic, Benelux, and other markets.
  • Resolve issues related to transportation, goods, and materials.
  • Act as the communication link between Customer Service, Operations, and Carriers.
  • Analyze and follow up on transportation claims in C4C.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Knowledge of warehouse processes, inbound operations, and picking techniques
  • Good command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and slot booking systems.
  • Able to work independently, in a structured manner, and under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset.
  • Continuous improvement mentality.
  • Team player.
  • Strong focus on safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Preferred: Experience in spare parts inventory management.
