PAY RANGE
The base pay for this Job Family generally ranges between $22 - $26/hr. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.

General Summary
Coordinate job assignments, orders, processes for Team Members and work activities in DRIV’s manufacturing area. Assist in maintaining an efficient work environment and meeting productivity standards. Resolve scheduling conflicts and routine problems in the work unit as they arise and participate in Team Member training sessions as needed. Understand all business processes in assigned area of responsibility and be capable of performing all essential work unit duties. Notify the Operations Supervisor of any occurrences that negatively impact production. Adhere to safety, health, and environmental guidelines.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform the functions of the work unit, which typically includes one or more of the following areas:
- Manufacturing of production parts including machine set-up and operation
- Packaging of gasket sets including set-up, assembly, and bundling
- Distribution of gasket sets including picking, aggregating, consolidating, sealing, loading and shipping.
- Provide first response to work area problems. Document problems, resolve when possible and follow-up with appropriate individual or group to ensure the problem is corrected in a timely fashion. Serve as ‘go to’ person for production-related and process-related issues that slow down the workflow.
- Assign work and coordinate job assignments based on daily production needs and scheduled staff. Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules. May participate in daily production and shift change meetings.
- Maintain and organize maintenance, time and production records. Prepare reports on attendance, productivity, quality and safety. Enter data into designated workbooks designed, and amended periodically, by the Operations Supervisor. May need to utilize and manipulate some MS Access queries to get specific information.
- Monitor potential safety issues and immediately alert Operations Supervisor of unsafe conditions or events hazardous to the environment. Suggest ways to improve work area safety and lead by example in adhering to safety standards at all times.
- Capitalize on cross-training opportunities to increase the knowledge of all employees in all areas of operations (in consultation with the Operations Supervisor).
- Perform other tasks and assignments that are consistent with knowledge and training.

Successful completion of high school highly preferred but not required.

Position Summary:
Direct a group or groups of employees to accomplish production goals. Train new employees in all aspects of their duties and responsibilities in their assigned department and evaluate their ability to successfully fulfill those obligations. Ensure employees are following standard operating procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)
- Supervise daily production to ensure goals are achieved checking both quality and quantity.
- Schedule jobs to be performed.
- Monitor inventory levels and order materials and supplies as needed.
- Perform WIP entry and material issuing.
- Assist with ongoing team member development.
- Must have working knowledge of the Oracle system.
- Must be Certified or have the ability to be certified to perform 1st article checks and Final Audit.
- Must be able to read and understand the instructions on a press card.
