PAY RANGE

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $65K - $95K. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.

SUMMARY

 

Responsible for the scheduling, coordination, and release of packaging workloads across multiple workcenters within DC Packaging. This role includes ensuring SAP data accuracy by maintaining BOM and Routing integrity, managing production orders, and coordinating materials to support efficient operations. Oversee Indirect materials and supplies ordering within Distribution Center, while maintaining appropriate inventory levels. This role also includes processing customer claims in SAP.

Additionally, the position supports transaction and reporting activities (including COGI reports), maintaining vendor contract and scheduling agreement, and ensuring compliance with established quality and safety standards.

 

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Update Routings and Bills of Materials, Control Cycles and adjust Load Quantity if needed.
  • Release DC packaging production orders, resolve production errors, and return parts to warehouse.
  • Print DC packaging paperwork and schedule daily.
  • Photograph new items and maintain catalog records for Quality.
  • Run/conduct monthly BOM and Routing audits to ensure data accuracy.
  • Coordinate workload to ensure proper flow, TECO orders as needed.
  • Run daily COGI reports.
  • Responsible for all  Indirect materials and Supplies.
    1. placing/releasing orders, expedite/de-expedite order as necessary in DC.
    2. analyzing and adjusting indirect material inventory levels.
    3. maintaining Stock Item and ZIP inventories in DC.
  • Maintain Vendor Contracts/Scheduling Agreements.
  • Review and complete customer claims for Plants 2168 and 2169.
  • Follow Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and suggest continuous improvements.
  • Follow Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) rules and recommend improvements.
  • Promptly reports quality problems, injuries and unsafe conditions
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and needed for DC
  • Support P3 and other continuous improvement project.

 

 

 

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

 

Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • 2+ years of SAP experience in Buying or Planning within a production environment
  • Thorough knowledge of packaging processes, bulk warehouse, and value stream workflow.

 

 

 

 

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge in SAP EP1.
  • Ability to run basic SAP production reports (COOIS, SE16N, SQ01, SQVI etc.).
  • Ability to write routine reports and business correspondence.
  • Knowledge of Scheduling Agreement, Vendor contracts and basic receiving and shipping requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Experience with order management systems.
  • Understanding of distribution processes.

 

Analytical & Functional Skills

  • Proven ability to plan and complete work within deadlines while maintaining accurate records/logs.
  • Strong analytical skills to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedures, work instructions, press cards, and safety rules.
  • Basic Math Skills.
  • High level of accuracy and efficiency in task execution.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with cross-functional teams.
