Role Overview:
The Pricing & Catalog (Category) Manager is responsible for leading pricing strategy execution, catalog data integrity, and category performance initiatives across the business. This role plays a key part in driving profitability, improving data accuracy, and supporting cross-functional alignment across Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
This position requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented leader who can manage complex data, lead projects to completion, and influence stakeholders across the organization while operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Up to 10% domestic and international travel required
Pricing & Category Management
- Lead pricing reviews and execute pricing strategies aligned with business objectives
- Analyze pricing performance, margin trends, and category-level opportunities
- Support category reviews and provide recommendations to improve profitability and competitiveness
- Collaborate with Sales teams to align pricing strategies with customer and market needs
Catalog Management & Data Integrity
- Own catalog data accuracy, completeness, and governance across systems
- Manage product lifecycle updates including new product introductions, updates, and discontinuations
- Ensure alignment of catalog data across internal systems and customer-facing platforms
- Drive continuous improvement in catalog processes and data standards
Project Management & Execution
- Lead cross-functional projects from initiation through completion
- Partner with internal stakeholders to drive alignment and execution of key initiatives
- Ensure timely delivery of projects with strong attention to detail and follow-through
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Engineering, Product Management, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Sales
- Act as a key liaison between commercial and operational teams
- Influence decision-making through data-driven insights and strong communication
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Pricing, Catalog Management, Category Management, or related functions
- Experience in one or more of the following: Engineering, Product Management, Project Management, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business Development, Strategy, Marketing, or Sales
- Strong project management skills with a proven ability to drive projects to completion
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- High attention to detail with strong critical thinking and time management abilities
- Proficiency with business systems and data tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Engineering, or related field preferred)
- Experience in the Automotive Aftermarket or related industries (OE, Tier 1 suppliers, dealerships, or repair shops)
- Demonstrated leadership ability with experience influencing cross-functional teams
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt in a dynamic environment
