Job Description:

DRiV, Inc. is looking for a strong automotive content professional to execute product application, product content and e-data strategy for North America as a Product Content Supervisor. The Content Supervisor acts as a liaison between DRiV, Inc and the customer in areas relating to, but not limited to, digital content, data requirements and strategic initiatives. They will also manage team development, system and process development, establish goals and objectives, data quality and customer service, industry knowledge and customer relations. The Content Supervisor will be required to maintain competency in the automotive aftermarket and customer specific data standards.

 

Core Functions:

  • Lead the team by clearly communicating job expectations
  • Provide/coordinate team training and development as required
  • Oversee the continued development of the content management systems, managing development projects with IT and external vendors
  • Plan, schedule and meet product content project timelines
  • Create and manage the team to adhere to distribution schedules for product information in conjunction with established timelines in cooperation with other functional teams.
  • Track progress of product content activity to critical milestones and provide periodic status reports to department management
  • Document and maintain a list of requirements for delivering product information in industry standard and customer specific formats.
  • Service the internal customer by working closely with other functional teams in relation to product information
  • Interface with key customer personnel to ensure completeness and timeliness.

  • Support special customer initiatives/projects as required
  • Provide/coordinate team training and development as required 
  • Manage and maintain key content department vendor relationships

 

Required Skills:

  • Strong Leadership skills 
  • Experience with leading and developing teams 
  • Strong relationship building, organizational, communication and problem-solving skills at all levels of organization, both verbal and written 
  • Working knowledge of vehicle components and systems 
  • Project Management
  • Ability to absorb, organize and analyze large amounts of information with the ability to extract key data
  • Must possess excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and Power Point
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting multiple project deadlines is required
  • Previous experience in the Automotive Aftermarket is preferred, particularly in the area of automotive parts, catalogue or data management
  • Working knowledge of Automotive Aftermarket content best practices and standards is required
  • Ability to travel <5%

 

Required Experience:

  • Five years of experience in content or data management
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Bilingual is a plus
