Technical Product Support (Bilingual – English/Spanish)

Position Summary:
As a Techline Agent, you will be responsible for providing expert technical assistance to customers via phone and email in both English and Spanish. You will respond to inquiries related to automotive repair, diagnostics, and the application of our products across a broad range of vehicle types. This role serves as a critical support link between the customer and our engineering, product, and quality teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing troubleshooting and technical support in English and Spanish.
- Diagnose automotive issues and recommend solutions involving DRiV product applications.
- Document technical interactions and identify recurring issues or trends.
- Collaborate with engineering, product development, and quality teams to communicate field feedback and identify product enhancement opportunities.
- Provide technical guidance for a wide range of vehicles, including passenger cars, light- and heavy-duty trucks, off-highway equipment, and performance vehicles.
- Translate or localize technical information, communications, and support materials for Spanish-speaking customers when needed.
- Ensure consistent, accurate communication across both languages while maintaining DRiV brand and technical standards.

Required Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience as an automotive/truck service technician, or 5–10 years as a parts counterperson.
- Solid understanding of automotive systems, components, and diagnostic procedures.
- Ability to collect and summarize data from customer interactions.
- Proficient computer skills, including basic reporting, chart creation, and KPI tracking.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written), with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly in both languages.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in a dealership or independent repair shop using diagnostic tools.
- Strong customer service skills, including conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and familiarity with Power BI.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostic software.
- Experience supporting Spanish-speaking customers in a technical or service environment.
Education & Certifications:
- High school diploma required.
- ASE certifications or ability to obtain them.
Preferred Education/Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology or graduation from an accredited automotive technical program.
- ASE Master Certification.
