Treasury Manager – Mexico

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Treasury Manager to serve as the Treasury lead for DRiV's Mexico operations while acting as an integral member of the Global Treasury organization.
This position will be responsible for supporting the Company's treasury activities across multiple legal entities in Mexico, ensuring effective liquidity management, banking operations, financial risk management, treasury governance, and compliance with corporate policies. The role will serve as the primary liaison between the Mexico finance organization and Global Treasury, partnering closely with Accounting, HR, Tax, Shared Services, Legal, Mexico Operations, and Corporate Treasury.
The Treasury Manager will also support strategic treasury initiatives, banking projects, process improvements, and treasury transformation efforts as DRiV continues to build a world-class global treasury function.
Key Responsibilities
Treasury Operations
- Serve as Treasury lead supporting all DRiV legal entities in Mexico.
- Provide oversight and backup support for payment processing and cash management activities.
- Monitor daily liquidity positions and coordinate local funding requirements with Global Treasury.
- Lead 13-week cash forecasting and working capital initiatives.
- Coordinate local foreign exchange transactions based on approved hedging and funding strategies.
- Monitor local banking activity and resolve operational issues.
Banking & Cash Management
- Manage relationships with local banking partners including Citi, HSBC, Santander and other financial institutions.
- Coordinate bank account administration including:
- Opening and closing accounts
- Electronic banking administration
- User access
- Signatory maintenance
- Cash management products
- Support implementation of treasury technology and banking connectivity initiatives including Host-to-Host connectivity.
- Ensure business continuity for local banking platforms.
Treasury Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Global Treasury policies and local banking regulations.
- Maintain treasury documentation, authorized signatories, banking mandates and legal documentation.
- Provide treasury support for internal and external audits.
- Support implementation of standardized treasury processes across Mexico.
Financial Risk Management
- Monitor local currency exposures and execute approved foreign exchange transactions.
- Manage intercompany loans, including interest calculations.
- Update exchange rates within SAP.
- Support economic indicator reporting required by Corporate Treasury.
Insurance & Pension Administration
- Serve as Treasury contact for global insurance programs in Mexico.
- Coordinate local insurance claims and renewals with Treasury Insurance Risk Management.
- Support administration of pension plans, actuarial studies, and retirement funding in coordination with HR, Mercer, WTW, and pension administrators.
- Support employee savings fund administration and banking coordination.
Treasury Projects
- Participate in treasury transformation initiatives.
- Support treasury integration activities related to acquisitions, divestitures, and organizational changes.
- Assist with banking rationalization and process automation.
- Drive continuous improvement of treasury processes and controls.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner with Accounting, Tax, HR, Legal, Shared Services and Operations.
- Act as primary Treasury representative for Mexico.
- Coordinate with Global Treasury on liquidity, funding, banking strategy and treasury initiatives.
- Lead implementation of corporate treasury policies across Mexico.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.
- MBA, CTP or other treasury certification preferred.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of treasury, corporate finance or banking experience.
- Strong knowledge of cash management, banking operations and treasury processes.
- Experience working with multinational corporations.
- Knowledge of Mexican banking regulations and financial institutions.
- Experience with SAP, electronic banking platforms and treasury management systems.
- Familiarity with foreign exchange risk management and liquidity management.
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple business functions and geographic regions.
- Bilingual English and Spanish required.
